CC-MCAR01 is the dedicated passive IO carrier backplane for Honeywell C300 distributed control system, serving as the physical and electrical backbone of the IO cabinet. It integrates power distribution circuits, dual redundant FTE communication bus traces and multi-slot card locking structure on one aluminum chassis PCB.
All C-series hot-swappable IO modules (analog input/output, digital DI/DO, HART, pulse, serial communication cards) plug directly into CC-MCAR01 slots. The backplane supplies isolated 24VDC power to each slot and transmits process data & diagnostic signals via redundant FTE bus to the C300 main controller.
Independent slot fuses prevent single card short-circuit from crashing the whole IO rack; robust industrial metal housing resists vibration and electromagnetic interference in refinery, power plant cabinet environments.
